S.P.A.C.E. Brunch Atlanta: A Women’s Brunch Experience to Pause and Reset

Taking a moment to pause and reflect, something most of us don't do enough

Sometimes We Don’t Even Realize What We’ve Done

A lot of women are out here just trying to be seen… But the truth is, we haven’t even taken the time to see ourselves.

We move so fast, from one responsibility to the next, that we don’t stop long enough to really sit with what we’ve accomplished.

And because of that, insecurity starts to creep in.

Not because we haven’t done enough… But because we haven’t taken a moment to count it.

I think about my own life.

I went back to college at 31. Five kids. A full-time job.

And I stayed on the Dean’s List.

I even earned a Tom Joyner Foundation scholarship.

That’s not small.

That’s not something you just brush past.

And when you really think about it… How many people today, with fewer responsibilities, would even commit to that?

But we don’t sit with those moments.

We don’t let them marinate.

What does it look like to truly see yourself?

We just move on to the next thing.

And over time, that disconnects you from your own worth.

A Different Kind of Women’s Brunch in Atlanta

Being close to the S.P.A.C.E. Brunch as it came together, one thing kept standing out to me.

This wasn’t created for the version of women who “have it all together.”

It was created for the real version.

The one who’s doing her best.

The one who’s figuring things out in real time.

The one who might just need a moment to breathe without expectations.

There are many women's networking events and brunch events in Atlanta.

This one feels different.

Pause.

Align.

Exhale.

And for once, that doesn’t feel like a tagline. It feels necessary.

More Than a Typical Networking Event for Women in Atlanta

I’ve seen many women's networking events in Atlanta come together, and most follow the same rhythm.

Quick introductions. Surface-level conversations. Everyone is moving from one interaction to the next.

This doesn’t feel like that.

As a first-time women’s empowerment event in Atlanta, this feels more like a room designed for real connection.

The kind where you don’t have to lead with what you do.

You can just exist in the space and let conversation happen naturally.

And that shift alone changes everything.

Why This First Event Sets the Tone

There’s something about being in the room for the first one.

No expectations.

No routine.

Just intention.

As more women seek wellness events in Atlanta and spaces that support self-care, a shift is underway.

Less about doing the most.

More about feeling aligned.

And being close to how this was created, you can feel that intention in every detail.

Who’s Bringing This Together

Given how close I am to how this came together, it also matters who is behind it.

This experience is being curated by Zuri and Co in partnership with Simply Globetrotting, two brands that understand what it means to create intentional spaces.

Zuri and Co. isn’t just an event company. They focus on curating experiences that people actually feel. The kind that stays with you long after the moment is over. Every detail is thought through. Every element has a purpose.

Simply Globetrotting brings a different layer—one rooted in lifestyle, exploration, and creating meaningful moments through connection and experience.

Together, it’s not just about putting on an event.

It’s about creating a space that feels aligned from the moment you walk in.

What to Expect at This Atlanta Brunch Event

The S.P.A.C.E. Brunch takes place on April 18th at 11:30 AM in Buckhead.

Yes, brunch is included. But it’s more than that.

You’ll hear from:

    •    Laura Finney

    •    Terri J. Vaughn

    •    Brian Hyppolite

Different voices. Different journeys. Real experiences.

But this isn’t something you just sit through.

It’s something you feel while you’re in it.

The Kind of Space You Didn’t Know You Needed

What stood out to me most is how simple the intention is.

A space where you don’t have to perform.

A space where you don’t have to carry everything for a moment.

A space where you can just be.

And maybe leave a little lighter than you came.

Final Thought

I didn’t realize how much this kind of space was needed until I saw it come together.

Not something big. Not something overwhelming.

Just a room, created on purpose.

And sometimes, all it takes is one moment… to remember who you are again.
